Alva

Alva is a pair of speedy knitted mittens suitable for leftover yarn and frosty weather. You can combine 1, 2, or 3 strands of yarn together to achieve the correct gauge. Suggested needle size: 4.5 mm. 

I used approx. 65 g of Drops Nepal (65% wool, 35% alpaca, 50g = 75 m) along with approx. 30 g of Filcolana Pernilla (100% wool, 50g = 175 m) for one pair of mittens in size 1.

The mittens can be knitted in two sizes. Size 1 is designed for an average woman’s hand, and size 2 for an average man’s hand. However, you can also size up or down if you find itchallenging to match the gauge with your leftover yarn.
